Firewheel Golf Park is a 63 hole golf course facility located in Garland, Texas. The facility boasts one 27 hole golf facility (The Brdiges Golf Course) and two additional 18 hole courses, The Old Course and The Lakes Course.

The Lakes Course is a difficult, challenging 18 holes. With ten lakes, water figures in many shots -- and if the water doesn't get you, the sand just might, with 52 bunkers sprinkled generously over the rolling hills. The greens are bentgrass greens.

Tough but fun course to play.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Ranks with the best in this price level

Difficult layout with water and trees. It helps if you have local knowledge, since some trouble is closer than it appears. Greens will putt well, but are not the best on holding chip shots or approaches in general.
